Immediate Assistance Procedure
Flood Assistance Information
Two Types of Funding
Immediate Assistance has now concluded as of June 15, 2015.  All funding will now be done through Long Term Assistance.
MyNK will be providing two forms of assistance to victims of the Memorial Flood - immediate disbursement assistance (which will include all funds disbursed until June 24, 2015) and assistance which will begin June 25, 2015 on a larger and more in-depth scale as additional funding becomes available.  Immediate assistance funds are now available for disbursement. These funds are limited and will be awarded on severity of need. These immediate funds are not intended for long-term rebuilding or repair needs.
Long-term Funding Disbursements (All funds disbursed beginning June 16, 2015)
Many fundraisers are in progress or are being planned with proceeds being channeled through MyNK.  Additionally, funds are currently being received into MyNK from a variety of sources - direct deposit into MyNK's general fund, on-line donations, checks being mailed, etc..  These funds will primarily be going into a general fund with distribution beginning June 25, 2015 (moved up to June 16, 2015).  An advisory board made up of involved citizens in Wimberley (not directly associated with MyNK) and two members from the MyNK Board of Directors is being established to handle the disbursement of these funds.  For more complete information regarding distribution of Long Term funds, please go to the Long Term Assistance page on this site.
